If you’re a native Midwesterner, having the proper winter clothing is vital when it comes to staying warm and safe during the cold, snowy months. For those who are either new to the region, especially refugees, or those who are facing tough circumstances, finding or affording appropriate winter clothing can be a challenge.
This year, Sunrise Banks has partnered with the International Institute of Minnesota Refugee Program and the Sioux Falls Salvation Army Clothing Closet to hold a winter clothing drive at all Sunrise Banks locations in Minnesota and South Dakota. And we’d love your help as we work to support those who need warm, safe winter clothing.
Now through Saturday, January 4, you can bring in new or gently used winter clothing** to any Sunrise Banks location in Minneapolis, St. Paul or Sioux Falls, SD. You’ll find donation boxes at each location.
Here are the winter clothing items requested by both organizations:
- Thick winter coats
- Adult sizes: extra small, small and medium
- Thick winter coats and snow suits
