Paul Berg

  • Paul Berg grew up in St. Paul, attended Saint Thomas Academy for high school, received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado – Boulder Leed’s School of Business and a Master’s of Science degree in Real Estate Appraisal & Investment Analysis from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He is currently a Commercial Lender and Vice President at Sunrise Banks. He has worked in the commercial real estate sector for over 35 years as a financier, developer, investor and property manager, with both institutional and entrepreneurial entities. Paul mostly works on commercial real estate lending, including construction loans. He enjoys interacting with customers and the feeling of accomplishment that comes with putting complex transactions together.

  • Jeffrey Vranicar is a Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer at Sunrise Banks, bringing 24 years of experience in commercial real estate financing. He holds an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from Hamline University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. Jeffrey enjoys structuring deals that balance risk and opportunity, using analysis, negotiation, and creativity to create financing solutions that serve both the customer and the Bank. Outside of work, he devotes most of his time to his wife and their three young children, volunteers at his church, serves on the North Loop Neighborhood Association, and is a passionate fan of the local sports teams.

  • Damon Sehr is Market President at Sunrise Banks in Sioux Falls, having joined the organization in March 2024. Prior to this role, he served as a Small Business Sales Manager for U.S. Bank, where he led a team of 12 business bankers across 40 branches throughout North and South Dakota. Damon recently completed a six-year term as Board President for the Furniture Mission of South Dakota, , and volunteers with SCORE and Junior Achievement. Damon’s leadership in finance includes working closely with organizations to build purposeful, mission-aligned partnerships.
