Sunrise Banks has recently named Becca Hoeft as Chief Brand Officer (CBO). Hoeft, currently the banks’ Senior Vice President of Communications & Marketing, will be the first CBO that Sunrise has had on its leadership team. Hoeft has been at the bank since 2014 and since then has established a strong, award-winning brand for the bank, focusing on Sunrise being a social enterprise and their reputation for community involvement.
Sunrise has long lived outside the lens of traditional banking, living on the progressive edge of socially responsible financial products. Hoeft has worked to position Sunrise as the go-to socially conscious bank in the urban core of the Twin Cities and across the country.
“Becca has demonstrated a trained eye for the cool and cutting edge. This nontraditional approach to branding has propelled the Sunrise brand to a new level,” says Sunrise Banks President Nichol Beckstrand. “We are excited for the future and continued innovation she will bring to the Sunrise Banks brand and our customer experience.”
Hoeft brings nearly 25 years of branding and communications experience to the position. She is an undergraduate alumnus of Bethel University and received her Masters of Arts in Communications at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
