(St. Paul, Minn. | June 8, 2021) – The NextGen Banker podcast, hosted by Sunrise Banks CEO David Reiling, will launch its first episode on Monday, June 14. The show will welcome guests from the banking and fintech world and explore the “next generation” of bankers – touching on what it means to be a financial professional in today’s tech- and values-driven banking sector.
Reiling is a social entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience in community development finance. Under his leadership, Sunrise has grown its asset size tenfold while maintaining its mission of being the most innovative bank empowering financial wellness. Sunrise is focused on balancing profit and purpose, and has a strong emphasis on creating financial access through its FinTech partnerships.
Reiling was named chair of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values in March 2021.
NextGen Banker will take on prevalent issues in today’s banking world – from cryptocurrency and embedded banking to regulating new tech – as well as how social responsibility and environmental sustainability have changed consumers’ expectations around what it means to run a business.
The podcast will appeal to financial professionals as well as anyone interested in corporate social responsibility and the meaning of entrepreneurship in 2021 and beyond.
