I am a Customer Service Representative at the University Branch

How long have you been at Sunrise?

I have been with Sunrise for almost four months… and I love it here!

What is your favorite part of working at Sunrise?

The atmosphere! The overall work atmosphere here is great. I don’t dread going to work in the morning, I look forward to what the next day might bring. I also enjoy the atmosphere between the bank and its customers. It is very special and is something I get to see every day.

What is your favorite motivational quote?

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

The President of the United States or a Rockstar… or perhaps both?

What do you do for fun when you’re not at work?

Go to shows (music, theatre, movies), camping, hiking and so much more.

Why is Sunrise’s Mission important to you?

I consider myself a very compassionate person, so working for a place that has compassion for all people that walk through its doors is very important. It’s something that many businesses lack.  From what I have seen, even after only working here four months, is that Sunrise does care about all people and truly does want to help underserved communities and empower the customers to be successful.

Which of the 10x values do you most identify with? Why?

I would say I identify the most with and/or strive to focus on the “Bigger Than US” 10x value. I think Bigger Than Us focus is very crucial to successful business. If you have a positive experience with something or somewhere you’ll be way more likely to remember that thing or have a positive attitude yourself. You’re creating a circle of positivity. What could be better?

What is something that most people at Sunrise do not know about you?

I really, really enjoy fishing (even if I don’t catch a fish)!

Describe your family?

My parents both live on a farm outside of a small town called Motley, MN. My dad likes to farm, fish and hunt and my mom enjoys scrapbooking. My brother lives right next door to my parents and has a golden retriever named Jessie. My family are very simple, hardworking people who enjoy relaxing outdoors.
