Sunrise Banks welcomed three expert panelists to discuss integrating economic justice into a company’s strategic plan during the bank’s third town hall on Thursday, June 2, 2022.

Crisis Strategist and Media Personality Roshini Rajkumar moderated a conversation with Tonya Jackman Hampton, chief people and culture officer for Hennepin Healthcare; Dr. Paul Campbell, a cofounder and managing partner at Brown Venture Group; and Steve Humerickhouse, the executive director of the Forum on Workplace Inclusion.

The panel covered how businesses can ensure equity for all employees, customers and the community at large. Topics included creating relationships, investing in communities of color and the importance of inclusive language.

Local artist Kori-Ann Hermitt ended the event with a musical performance of This Is Me from The Greatest Showman.
