ST. PAUL, Minn. (July 29, 2025) – Sunrise Banks, a mission-focused, values-based bank with locations in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minn. and Sioux Falls, S.D. is welcoming Edwina Payne to its Board of Directors. She begins her term July 30, 2025.
Payne has more than 30 years of experience in growing, scaling and transforming Fortune 200 and global multi-billion-dollar organizations. She serves as a strategic advisor for THG Advisors, which provides on-demand access to C-Suite-level talent to accelerate strategic transformation and major change initiatives.

ABOUT EDWINA PAYNE
Alongside her corporate history, Edwina Payne has served on boards for several public, private and nonprofit organizations, including the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta. She currently serves on the boards of The Task Force for Global Health and Royal Neighbors of America. She utilizes her career experience to provide insight into how technology impacts multiple business functions, including transformation, growth, efficiency and cyber risk.
Payne’s business experience also includes compliance, audit, risk management, employee culture and talent management. She prides herself on being able to connect across diverse cultures, build collaborative and inclusive teams, and drive positive business results.
Payne holds a B.S. in Computer Technology from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind. In 2024, she received both her Directorship Certification from the National Association of Corporate Directors and her Certificate in Private Governance from the Private Directors Association. She currently lives in the Atlanta area with her husband, Kelly.
