(June 12, 2025) – Sunrise Banks, a values-based bank with locations in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minn. and Sioux Falls, S.D., has been named to the Top 200 Workplaces List by the Minnesota Star Tribune for the second straight year.

Among 73 mid-sized companies (150-499 employees) recognized, Sunrise Banks ranks #32 on the Top Workplaces list.

Top Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health and satisfaction. The 2025 analysis included responses from hundreds of employees at public, private and nonprofit organizations across the state.

“While being named to the Top Workplaces list once is a big deal, being on the list two years in a row is even more significant,” says David Reiling, President & CEO at Sunrise Banks. “This shows that among Minnesota’s best-known companies, our employees hold us in high regard when it comes to our culture, our core values and our community impact.”

In addition to making the Top Workplaces list for two straight years, USA Today named Sunrise Banks to its Top Workplaces USA list earlier this year.

The results of the Star Tribune Top Workplaces survey are based on information collected by Energage, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention.

To qualify for the Star Tribune Top Workplaces, a company must have more than 50 employees in Minnesota. Rankings are composite scores calculated purely on employee responses.
