Sunrise Banks is pleased to announce the addition of Scott Peterson to its Board of Directors. Peterson joins the board to chair the National Products and Innovation Committee and to sit on the Technology Committee.
Peterson has extensive experience in the payments and financial services industry, having worked with many financial institutions across the country. His expertise includes credit, debit, and prepaid card products, treasury management services, and ACH, check, and EFT networks.

Peterson joins the Sunrise board after most recently serving as the SVP, Chief Product Officer for Western Alliance Bancorporation in Phoenix, Arizona since 2015. Previous to that, he worked with US Bank, Deluxe Corporation, and Wells Fargo among others.
Peterson taught Strategic Management for several years as an adjunct faculty member of St Catherine University’s Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership program. Peterson also has a long history of community service including leadership roles with the YMCA, various church boards, and several performing arts organizations as well as having served as past President of the Twin Cities Treasury Management Association.
