The conviction of Derek Chauvin marks an important step towards accountability. Our hearts go out to George Floyd’s family and we hope this decision brings them some peace.

The road to racial equality requires each of us to continue to look within ourselves and our community to effect real change to eliminate systemic injustice. While the conversations we need to continue to have are hard, we must act to make progress towards a just society for all.
