Make a Consumer Loan Payment via Digital Banking

You’ve asked. We’re delivering. Beginning March 24, 2021, retail online banking users may now make a loan payment to a Sunrise loan, via our online banking application, using your external bank account!

A: Currently, this update only applies to retail online banking users with consumer loans. There is no change to how commercial loan payments are made. 

A: You will now initiate a loan payment via the ‘Make a Loan Payment’ option within the ‘Transfers & Payments’ section.

A: Within the ‘From’ drop-down, your Sunrise account(s) will be listed along with any external account you have linked. You may select either account type for payment.

A: No, previously initiated loan payments will not be impacted by this upgrade.

A: Under the ‘Transfers & Payments’ section, there is an ‘Add External Account’ option. Follow the instructions on that page to link an external account.

A: The date your selecting is the process date. The posting date will be the following business day.

A: Yes, the cutoff is 4:00 p.m. CST Monday through Friday.

A: Yes, you are able to connect an external account to your online banking access and use that account to make your loan payment.

A: You may continue to make your consumer loan payment as you have from the ‘Funds Transfer’ section.
