Sunrise Banks Appoints New Chief Sales Officer and Bank and Holding Company President

Sunrise Banks is pleased to announce the appointment of Nichol Beckstrand as its Bank and Holding Company President as well as the appointment of Mark Lucke as Chief Sales Officer overseeing retail banking, cash management, commercial banking/lending, and mortgage.

As a strong leader, she is extremely talented and will further enable Sunrise to focus on our mission of being innovative and empowering the underserved to achieve their aspirations”, says David Reiling, Sunrise CEO. “I am equally excited about the appointment of Mark Lucke to Chief Sales Officer. With over 30 years of banking and the strong relationships he has built over his career, Mark will continue to build a strong lending team that can serve our community well.”

In 2014, Beckstrand was honored as a Top Women in Finance by Finance & Commerce. In 2011, she was named to the Top 40 Under 40 list by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. Beckstrand started her career at Larson Allen LLP, quickly demonstrated her leadership skills and became a Principal in 2004. In 2006, Nichol moved to Sunrise Banks and eventually took the position of Chief Operating Officer. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management and a proud wife and mom of two children.

Lucke is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas, and since then has been working in Commercial Banking and Commercial Lending for 30 years at banks such as US Bank and TCF Bank before joining Sunrise Banks in 2013. Mark has also been an active member of the Board of Directors for the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce since 2012.
