(St. Paul, Minn. | Aug. 22, 2022) – Sunrise Banks has hired Corey Mensink as Executive Vice President, Regional Commercial Loan Manager.

Mensink joined the bank on Aug. 22 and will report to Sunrise Banks EVP, Director of Commercial Banking David Scott.

Mensink will manage one of the bank’s commercial lending teams and coordinate Sunrise’s business development and sales program to generate new, quality loan relationships. He will also contribute to the bank’s overall strategic plan by providing guidance related to lending operations and development.

Prior to joining Sunrise, Mensink held senior-level positions at U.S. Bank and Wells Fargo. He has more than two decades of experience in the banking sector. Mensink also serves on the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse’s College of Business Administration board of advisors.

He previously served as a member of the school board for District 761, was a member of the board of trustees for Owatonna Hospital – Allina Health in Owatonna and was a member of the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation’s board of trustees.
