Inside the Project: NEON Collective Kitchens

A group of NEON staff members cut the ribbon at the grand opening of NEON Collective Kitchens

This week, the Northside Economic Opportunity Network (NEON) Off Site Link celebrated the grand opening of its new Collective Kitchens on West Broadway in North Minneapolis. This 25,000-square foot building is designed to support food-based businesses, including caterers, restaurants, food trucks and consumer packaged goods. The state-of-the-art facility will give food entrepreneurs the space, equipment and audiences necessary to start and grow their businesses.

Sunrise Banks provided a New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) allocation for the $20 million project. Mary Stoick, SVP – Director of Tax Credit Lending joined other dignitaries to help cut the ribbon and officially open the building.
